Kitty works with individuals and Interior Designers to enhance peoples' daily lives by creating in clients' homes murals , faux finishes, new looks for outdated furniture, and hand-painted accessories.

Kitty has participated as the decorative painter in five (5) Decorator Showhouses in the Baltimore-Washington area, the most recent date, which was the 1998 Washington National Symphony Showhouse in Georgetown, Washington, DC. Kitty worked under the direction of ASID Interior Designer, Marcia Geoghan of Originals by Randolph, creating the faux finish, the freehand calligraphy on the walls, and painting on canvas, chairs, and pillows. In past showhouses Kitty has painted fruit still-lifes on ceilings, authors' names in calligraphy on walls, pillows and wall motifs in dining rooms, libraries, bedrooms, bathrooms and sewing rooms.
